Who can be a Wittnes

Anyone 18 years and over can witness or sign a will, it can be a friend, colleague, lawyer or any other. They must be of sound mind and memory.

Who cannot be a Witness.

A beneficiary in a Will cannot be a witness and neither can their spouse or civil partner.
